J&M Helmet Intercom Headsets

J&M Helmet Headsets provide hardwired, high-quality audio to your helmet directly from your bike’s stereo or intercom system. In contrast to wireless Bluetooth® headset systems like those made by Scala or Sena, a J&M headset is wired directly to the bike’s audio system, and is powered by your bike – not by batteries. As such, J&M systems offer a number of advantages to riders on bikes with built-in audio systems.*

[*The J&M JMCB-2003 series CB radios are available for installation on bikes without a built-in audio system, and features a passenger-driver intercom, 40-channel CB radio, and stereo (see below for more information on the JMCB-2003K and JMCB-2003B).]

Better Audio Quality

Although Bluetooth headset technology has advanced by leaps and bounds in recent years, hardwired J&M headsets still deliver the best audio quality because they let your bike’s stereo do the heavy lifting. And to ensure the best sound possible is transmitted from your bike to your helmet, the headset features premium Dynaport® helmet speakers that deliver clear and loud sound. The high-output AeroMike® microphone provides ambient noise cancellation and voice response for maximum intercom clarity.

No Batteries

Your bike’s battery powers your J&M’s high-quality audio amplification, so there’s no need to recharge anything.

No Box On Your Helmet

Instead of having a wireless control and power box mounted on the side of your helmet, the only thing J&M requires on the side of your helmet is the cord connection.

Built-In CB Radio

Each J&M headset features a built-in, 40-channel CB radio, so you can intercom with as many riders as you want within a two-mile radius, and all riders in the group can talk and listen to the conversation. No Bluetooth intercom system comes close to having the range or multi-rider functionality that J&M has.

Simplicity

J&M systems are straightforward and easy to operate with your bike’s stereo controls. Once you’ve installed your headset system in your helmet and purchased the right connection cord for your bike, you’re ready to plug in. If your passenger or another rider initiates an intercom call, the music will automatically yield to the conversation.
