Bell Vortex Helmet

The Bell Vortex is an excellent choice for riders looking for a helmet in the sub-$200 price range. The Vortex is Snell rated for safety, it performs well, and is available in a variety of equally-priced graphic and solid color options.

The Vortex’s aerodynamic shape and venting design was inspired by Bell’s top-of-the-line track helmet, the Star. As such, the Vortex is stable at high speeds and flows a lot of air through the intake vents and out through the exhaust vents. Featuring Bell’s incredibly easy ClickRelease shield system, visor changes are intuitive and take only seconds. You can also eliminate the need for visor changes completely by picking up a SolFX photochromic shield. The SolFX Transitions shield seamlessly and safely adjusts its tint to respond to changing light conditions, and Bell is one of the few helmet manufacturers who can currently offer this shield option.
