Are you suffering from a riding identity crisis? You’re not alone. There are millions of other riders around the world who, just like you, love to find those place where the dirt and asphalt meet. Alpinestars makes the gear that meets the demands of your multiple riding personalities, and both the on-road and off-road adventurers inside you will appreciate the versatile benefits of the Alpinestars Scout Boot.

These hybrid street and dirt boots handle freeways, city streets, and long tours, yet hold their own offroad. The multifunctional Scouts are light, flexible, and comfortable for all day wear on and off the bike, and, like we’ve experienced with all the Alpinestars boots we’ve tried, they have a worn-in feel right out of the box. They feature a 100% waterproof membrane for all-season wear, and lugged anti-slip and oil-resistant Skywalk® soles that exhibit exceptional grip on offroad and onroad surfaces.

Though their comfort and slim profile make the Scouts excellent for touring and commuting, Alpinestars still packed in offroad features for adventure riders. The Scouts are as high as the average motocross boot, and the reinforced shin panel and buckle closures provide vital stability and shin protection required for any offroad riding. Toe and heel counters and double-injected TPU ankle supports are housed in sturdy and durable PU coated leather to round out the ultimate protective but comfortable adventure touring boots.

Break-in ride on a dirt bike. Stiff but no missed shifts. Second ride all day dual-sport trip down to Clear Creek and back. In through New Idria, out through Coalinga Rd. All day comfort, many water crossings, dry feet… But warm. Third ride, a day in the twisties on the motard. Again, all day comfort but warm. Looking forward to wearing these boots on cold, wet, and muddy days.
