Title Tire Technician (part-time)
Job Information

When it comes to their tires, our local riders should get the highest quality, safest service possible. Our Tire Department focuses on providing safe, consistent tire service so local riders can get on the road with the assurance that their bike will handle predictably and the way the manufacturer intended.

If you have done your homework and chosen tires on your own, you know it sometimes feels like rocket science. This number means this, that number means that. Dual compounds, lower profiles, lean angles. Learning these things takes time, but if you enjoy the hands-on element of working on motorcycles and enjoy helping people make good decisions when it comes to their motorcycles, then a job as a Tire Technician might be a great fit for you!

We require that our Tire Technicians have a few important qualities:

  • Experience riding, especially in the Bay Area
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Confidence and ability when it comes to machinery
  • A technical understanding of motorcycle mechanics
  • The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds
  • A reliable source of transportation — hopefully a motorcycle!

As a Tire Technician, you can expect a few things from us:

  • One of the finest employee discounts in the motorcycle retail world
  • A flexible schedule
  • A fun, motorcycle- and customer-centric environment
  • Competitive pay

Instructions

If you feel you can “wow” our customers by offering them phenomenal customer service and a high level of usable mechanical knowledge, we hope you send us a cover letter and your resume. Applicants with the best cover letters get the most attention from our hiring managers. Be yourself, but try to catch our eye. We get a lot of these, so the cover letters that show passion for people, motorcycling, and local riding get printed and passed around. Generic ones — not so much.
